Privacy policy
This policy covers getslatefit.com: what you tell us when you ask about Slate Fit, and what our host sees when you visit. It is short because we collect little.

Who we are
Slate Fit and this website are run by Coding Crafts LLC, a California limited liability company. When this policy says “we” or “us”, it means Coding Crafts LLC.
Questions about this policy, or about anything we hold about you, go to contact@getslatefit.com.
This policy covers this website only. If your business uses Slate Fit, the information about your members inside the product is covered by the agreement between your business and us, not by this page.
What we collect
Only what you choose to send us, and what any website’s host sees of a visit.
- When you ask for pricing, the form asks for five things: your studio name, your email, your number of locations, your members, roughly, and what you use today. It also records which page of this site you sent it from.
- If you write to us, we have your email and whatever you put in it.
- Our host records each request to this site, as every host does: your IP address, your browser, the page you asked for, the page that linked to it, and the time.
- Our host’s visit counter tells us how many people visited each page and where they came from. It sets no cookies and does not follow you to other sites.
We do not ask for payment details, and nothing on this site asks you to create an account.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own.
The enquiry form is delivered by a form-handling service. If your browser sends the form without JavaScript, it opens that service’s own page, which may set a cookie on the service’s own domain to keep spam out.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote for your business.
- To follow up with you about Slate Fit.
- To see which pages people find useful, so we can improve the site.
- To keep the site and the form working and free of spam and abuse.
- To meet a legal obligation, if one applies.
Who receives it
We use a small number of service providers to run this site and handle enquiries, and they act on our instructions:
- a form-handling service, which receives the enquiry form;
- a team messaging service, where enquiries are delivered to us;
- our website host, which serves these pages and counts visits;
- our email provider, for the messages we exchange with you.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising that follows you across other sites. We do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. We would disclose it only if the law required it, or to a company that took over Slate Fit, which would then be bound by this policy.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries, and the emails that follow them, with no fixed end date, so the history is there if you come back to us later.
You can ask us to delete yours at any time, and we will, unless the law requires us to keep it. Our host keeps its request records for the period its own service sets.
Your choices
Write to contact@getslatefit.com to ask for any of these. We answer within 45 days.
- A copy of what we hold about you.
- A correction of anything that is wrong.
- Deletion of what we hold about you.
We will not treat you differently for asking. We may need to confirm that a request comes from you before we act on it.
California residents
Do Not Track: this site does not track you across other sites, so a Do Not Track signal from your browser changes nothing here, and every visitor is treated the same.
We do not share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing, so there is nothing to opt out of under California’s Shine the Light law. To ask about it, or to use the choices above, write to contact@getslatefit.com.
Children
This site is for businesses. It is not meant for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you think a child has sent us something, write to us and we will delete it.
Security
The site is served only over an encrypted connection, the form is sent over one, and access to enquiries is limited to the people at Coding Crafts who answer them. No method of sending or storing information is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise that nothing will ever go wrong.
Changes to this policy
Slate Fit is offered to businesses in the United States. If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and change the effective date at the top. If a change is significant, we will say so on this page before it applies.
